The History of Camel Cigarettes
Camel cigarettes were launched by R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in 1913. Camel cigarettes have a mixture of Turkish Tobacco and Virginia Tobacco in them.
Before the launch of Camel brand, cigarettes used to be very hard and they seriously affected human body. So, the purpose of developing Camel cigarettes was to produce milder brand of cigarettes that would be much less harmful and more pleasant to smokers. Camel cigarettes were promoted by special advertisement company and a famous slogan which showed that a man can make anything to get a pack of Camel cigarettes. In the year 1987, R.J. Reynolds Company introduced "Joe Camel" for the brand which became famous even among children; it became more popular than very popular at those times cartoons such as Mickey Mouse, Fred Flintstone and Bugs Bunny etc.
Changes took place in Camel cigarettes such as adding the name on the paper of flirter and changing the design in 2005 year. The text written on the paper is often visible even after burning the cigarette. The Turkish Tobacco used in Camel cigarettes is a cause of its distinction from other cigarettes as it has a different odor as well as darker and browner smoke.
The pack style of this brand, it has the picture of a camel printed on the pack which is the logo of this brand. Turkish Tobacco is considered to be the world's smoothest tobacco with rich taste. The blend of this tobacco with domestic tobacco makes it distinctive in its smoothness and mildness.
